Postcards from the Cracker Coast

Google announced yesterday that they plan to launch their own Operating system called Google Chrome OS in 2010.  They said it will be targeted towards Netbook computers at first.  It will be based on a Linux kernel with a new GUI interface created by the team at Google.  There are many free Linux based OS operating system out there similar to what Google is trying to do, but I have a feeling this might be a big hit since its from Google.
